If you remember when Kasumi answered the phone, Brett introduced himself with
'Deity Relief Office' - his own attempt to change the system... (foolish god
there... the system has a life of it's own!! :) 

I'm not sure if you got the reference there, since you don't have the original 
manga.  Earth Assistance Center is Peorth's department, I believe... ^_^

Now there's a plot idea...Brett getting transferred to a rival office like EAC 
temporarily (I don't know if this sort of thing would happen or not in the AMG 
universe, but it's interesting, considering Urd's jealousy in this story...)
