I *LIKE* Gosunkugi! :P He's one of the least offensive of the Ranma
cast. Sure, he's a bit strange, but if you go by manga (and I think I keep
hearing that Anime isn't fodder? :P) he's not anywhere NEAR as psychotic as
his anime counterpart. I don't think he deserves to be shunned at all :P
and actually prefer him over many other characters. They went way
overboard with him in the anime, and even there, I still like him. So I
hereby start you, convince me he ought to be shunned. At least he's not
some roaming phsychopath who blows up walls or a guy who throws everything
*including* the kitchen sink at you as so much as look at you. In my
opinion, he's probably one of the more civil. Even if he can be a freak
sometimes (Nothing wrong with a little magic dabbling. ^^;)
Nah, he doesn't blow up walls... just himself and Ranma to get Ranma.
And he is civil? Well, I didn't seen him ask Akane if he could try to
control her with his magic paper dolls before he attempted it...
Dabbling in magic? Well, using a juujuu doll to try to kill someone
doesn't have connotations of being wrong? And what about spying on
people? That's hardly civil, either.
Kun-chan...
Don't matter, I still like him. Biih. And He didn't intend to blow
himself and Ranma up. He didn't even know there was a timer on the battle
suit he was wearing. He had NO intention of blowing up and was less than
happy when it happened. He got the Battle suit hoping to just once defeat
Ranma. NOT kill him. Just beat. The fact it allowed him to even
challenge Ranma was joy to him, since he's not a martial arts type. The
paper dolls never once said anything more offesive than 'please date with
me' 'trade diarys with me' and 'Don't hate me' The others he put on other
people were hugely harmless. If he were really nasty, he could have done
much worse than 'Seat me next to Akane' and 'argue with Akane' which was a
truely useless one since Akane and Ranma argue anyway. I concede, he uses
the dolls to try and hurt Ranma... but unlike everyone else's weapons,
these are ineffective at best and never work. And for intent? He KNOWS
they don't work. Also, he's more likely to be friendly to Ranma and Akane
than any of the other guys who persue Akane. The manga with the
battlesuit, he actually admires Ranma, and at the same time hates him. As
for spying, admittedly, that's wrong, but it's not like he goes around
spying on everyone. And I find this far less offencive than busting in a
wall to get Ranma, or crashing up through a floor to get Ranma, or
appearing out of nowhere somewhere in the dojo to get Ranma.
