Akane attacking with a hammer is treated as an everyday occurrence 1 drin
Actually, an explanation/expansion of that ability is coming up by
part five (think Illyana :).
Where does she do _this_ one? So far, nobody's been able to give me more
than
one reference.

Actually, the Mallet (tm) occurs in many places, and its not limited to Akane
either. Happousai uses it on the beach (Love Pills), and so does Akane (Misudo
episode). Genma tries to hammer his son with it (Nodoka finds out), and so does
Soun (Ranma leaves the dojo).
And, yes, the mallet comes out of nowhere, and goes back to nowhere after use.
Perhaps they grow naturually in Nerima. ^_^

Nodoka is skillful with her katana 1 drin
She isn't?
There's never been any evidence that she can use it, she was clumsy with it
at
raining.
<sorry, lemme start again>
There's never been any evidence that she can use it, she was clumsy with it
at least once, and she has no martial arts training.

Actually, from what I've seen of the SC-"klutziness", the slips ended up with
the sword implanting itself right where Ranma's (ahem) equipment would be. It
happened, not once, but twice to my knowledge. It seems to me that a little
more than luck was at work. Remember, a highly skilled person can fake
incompetence.
Besides, Nodoka was going to play kaishaku, a role that takes SOME skill with
the sword.
