This is a fanfic series on a grand scale. 23 episodes are
publicly available with lots more planned (unfortunately
the authors are doing RL things, but #24 was promised "soon"
some months ago....). Set in the KOR world after the final
movie "Back to that day". Its done by Andy Combs + Stephen Tsai.
IMO this is a superb series, the characterisations are great
to the point you think its by Izumi Matsumoto. Because its
set after the movie which resolved a lot of conflicts (well....
the major one :) the authors decided to create new characters
and leave Hiyama Hikaru as nothing more than a subtle memory.
As with KOR tradition there is the obligatory love triangle
which is developed very slowly and realistically but this time
it does not center around Kasuga but Ayukawa....
The new characters fit into the series well.
hmm.. Unlike the really long UY fic series you can
start reading it at any episode without getting lost,
but it is meant to be read from the beginning ofcourse...
The biggest plus for this series is that it contains all the
original KOR style and hijinks which gave KOR its cult following.
<head scratch> hmm.. Its written in the script styling which I
really HATE but once I started reading I soon forgot I hated it,
so I guess it worked for me (for once).
If your a KOR junkie I'd bet my soul that you have already
read all #23 episodes, and if your not, I urge you to read it
as you wont regret it (unless you dislike KOR that is).
I know its not much of a review :) its pure biased shlock.
