Well, I guess I'm back on the list, for whatever that's worth. More
junk mail, more spam. Feh.

Well, I sent this about four days ago, so things have changed *slightly*
since then. I just sent out the query letter to ANALOG Science Fiction
and Fact magazine. C&C on Blue Lightning would still be appreciated,
though. I'll be posting the final copy to the list sometime today.

It's now the 21st that I'll be losing internet connectivity, except for
email. Since I will have to move out of my old apartment by August 15th,
and very likely out of Pittsburgh entirely, I won't be on the list after
that. Sorry to subscribe and run, but life doesn't exactly play fair.

I'm no longer *sure* that I'll be moving to Berkeley, but I'm seriously
considering it. As far as I can tell after having visited there, it's a
heck of a lot better place to live than Pittsburgh. The city doesn't
smell. (Pittsburgh actually has an odor! I realized that when I came
back after being in Berkeley) It isn't covered with soot, as Pittsburgh
used to be a highly industrialized city, and produced coal for a while.
And the people are a lot friendlier than Pittsburgh, for whatever reason.
Since Berkeley is a college towm, that would also mean that I'd end up
living around a lot of people my own age, hopefully with a decent amount
of things to do around town. I still don't know what I'd be doing for a
living yet, although I tend to think it'll involve computers in some form
or another, since that's what I happen to be good at. Aside from writing,
that is.

Well, hopefully this story will actually get my name in print, for whatever
that's worth. I could use the money, too. :)

TTFN, guys.

Damon, .sigless again.
