Fic snipped

written. Now that it's done, I have no intention of editing, revising,
or fixing it in any way. I'll post it on the FFML, RAAC once its back
in operation, and maybe the fanfic remailer and then be done with it.

Burns Brightest was *NOT* a Ranma story.
It was an AIDS story with the names of Ranma cast members inserted into
it.  The only In-Character bit of it is the half-of-a-line that Kunou
speaks in poetry.  The rest, well...My original suspicion was that the
characters' original names were John, Henry, Mabeline, and so on, and that
you went through the story and replaced the names with Ryouga, Ranma and
Akari.  I'm sorry if this seems rude, but I would prefer you to not send
this to the FTP site because, apart from the character names, it has no
connection whatsoever with the Ranma series.
