Hello folks.  This is Don and I'm currently writing a crossover between Ranma 
1/2 and Final Fantasy 3.  However, I do have some problem with the story.  I don't 
really expect much of you to know the story of Final Fantasy 3, so I'll skip the plot 
details.  My current problem is that I'm writing a crossover that basically puts the 
Ranmaverse characters into the equivalent Final Fantasy 3 counterparts as best as I 
could.  So, I didn't really change the story, only the characters.  However, that 
presents several problems.  The story of FF3 is very rigid and there are only two true 
relationships (I picked Ranma/Akane and Ranma/Ukyou).  That means, all other 
relationship such as Ryouga/Akane, Mousse/Shampoo, Shampoo/Ranma have to be killed off 
to fit the storyline.  Would it be okay if I post a story like that?  Also, the 
characters would not fit their Ranmaverse personality.  For example, Kunou in my story 
actually have some sense to him and Akane is his mortal enemy.  There are no Ranmaverse 
curses.  Mousse has adapted some of the Ranma's personality and now thinks all the girls 
like him (he gets rejected by everyone, of course ^_^).  Ryouga is now Mousse's brother. 
 Akane is now the best fighter whereas Ranma ranks relatively low on the fighting scale. 
 So, my question is this.  Do you want to see this story even though it would almost be 
a different reality?  I've done my best to put the Ranma 1/2 characters as close to 
their original personality as possible, but sometimes change is inevitable in order to 
preserve the story.  Please let me know your opinion!

	Now, some question for those that do know the Final Fantasy 3 story.  These 
characters I haven't found the equivalent Ranmaverse counterparts yet.  If you have any 
idea please let me know!

	Characters that don't have a Ranmaverse counterpart:

	Setzer - I know Gambler King would be nice, but then I can't imagine Gambler 
King proposing to Akane, my Celes, to marry him.
	Daryl - Trying to decide between Kasumi and Nodoka
	Banon
	Emperor Gestahl
	Strago 
	Shadow
	Professor Cid - Thinking of Soun, but then Soun is already Akane's father!  The 
part Cid 'adapts' Celes would be kind of pointless if I choose this.
	Vargas
	Cyan's kid (forgot his name) 

	By the way, I will not use Happosai in my story, period.  I even used Kodachi, 
but I'm not going to let Happosai get in here.  If you're interested I can send you a 
list of the characters that I do have a Ranmaverse counterpart.
