	Here's part 2 of my Ranma; Dark Empire fanfic. This continues from the last
part,
just after Akane has been caputred by the Empire and Ranma has found out.
	Well, here it is...

				Ranma: Dark Empire
			      Part 2: Unhappy Reunion


	"What do you mean Akane has been captured by the empire!?" Yelled Ranma,
letting
go of his mother and storming over to the Red Armored fellow.
	"Just that, The empire came to Gologotha Secundus, and invaded. She
attempted to
escape abroad a shuttle, but was unsuccessful. She is the only survivor."
said the man.
	"How do you know this?" Ranma brought a fist up before the man, he was
completely
enraged.
	"I have my way, but you will need to rescue her soon, for no doubt she will be
tortured and then killed. Most likely on Arrakis." said the man.
	Ranma stepped away from the man, and turned to His parents. "Is...is this
true?"
he asked, tears welling up in his eyes.
	"Ranma...." started Nadoka.
	"No! The truth!" Ranma punched the ground hard, cracking the concrete.
	"Yes, she was taken. Everything is true." said Genma.
	Ranma sniffed once and ran off.
	"Soun's taking this much better." said Genma.
	"He's used to loss, he's lost all his daughters now." said Nadoka.
	"He'll do something stupid now." said the man, coming to stand with them.
	" Titus, you're too blunt." said Nadoka.
	"I don't need to sugarcoat things, I'm a bounty hunter. Tomorrow, I could shoot
both of you." said Titus.
	"We paid you enough for your services for the next year, I think this would
fall
under your services." said Genma.
	"Hmmm, I don't think so, but I would like to pay the Empire back in full,
pay me
1/2 my standard rate and I'll do it."
	"What! It's like old times, being extorted..." said Genma.
	"We'll pay." said Nadoka.
	"Good, now, we must get Ranma ready.."
	"What do you need him for?" asked Genma.
	"Hey, taking on the Empire is not an easy job, I'm going to need at lest
another
person to help me....I'm not that good." Titus, turns and walks off.

	"Go away." Ranma yells at the person at the door, though sobs.
	"Ranma, I can help you get Akane back, but I need your help." said Titus though
the door.	
	"I don't trust you, I saw you working for the Empire."
	"I work for who ever pays me. Right now, I'm working for your parents. As long
as their money is good, you can trust me."
	Ranma gets off his bed, and opens the door. "Let me see your face, then I'll 
trust you."
	"Sorry, can't do it."
	"Why? Will you die?"
	"No, but it's part of the legend of Titus Zedar."
	"Oh well...when do we leave?"
	"As soon as I pinpoint the location of Kuno's command ship..."
	Ranma scowled. "How long?"
	Titus looks at his watch. "One...two...three...done, lets go. Oh, make sure you
have no laser weapon, a projectile weapon, and some kind of knife."
	"I don't need any of those."
	"Yes you do, you see, the Empire has a whole bunch of Battle Aura Vampires out
there, one use of any hand to hand using the aura, and you're down for the
count."
	"Oh..."
	"Well, meet me at my ship in a half hour." Titus turns and walks off.
	Ranma sits back on his bed, and shakes his head.

	"So you still don't want to talk?" Kuno stood over the pit that Akane was 
imprisoned in. Akane was dirty and looked dreadfully tired. "Sleep
depravation is not
the only method we have to make you talk...many more, interesting ways are
at my disposal.
	"I'll...I'll never talk!" said Akane.
	"My my...well, good by..." Kuno walks off.
	Nabiki shows up after he leaves, and shoos off the guards.
	"Akane, are you all right?" Nabiki says.
	"Go away." 
	Nabiki walks over to the a control panel and bunches a few buttons. The force 
field that keeps Akane in the pit changes shape, giving Nabiki access to
half o the Pit.
	"Akane, just talk to me. It's been years since I saw you last."
	"You're no longer my sister."
	"I am still your sister! And I love you very much."
	"You're just saying that."
	"No I am not! I don't approve in what Kuno, or the Empire has done, or even
what
it stands for."
	"When you found out that Kuno was the Prince, you said that one day you
would be
running the Empire. I see that's you are very close to your goal."
	"I never wanted it to be like this, I wanted to build a better place, I saw
what
the empire was, and I though I could change it, but I couldn't do it in the
way I 
thought. When Kuno returned, He was different, he was actually frightfully
intelligent, 
and do you know who Kuno had come for? Ranma, he came to arrested and
execute Ranma.
He realized that Ranma was the Pony-tailed girl, and was going to have his
revenge on
Ranma, but he couldn't find Ranma, so he went to Dr. Tofu, who was a known
rebel 
sympathizer."
	"What?"
	"Kuno has done many evil deeds, and he wants to get rid of Ranma above all
else.
You were just a lucky catch."
	"What will happen to me?"
	"I'm trying to have you released into my custody, but It doesn't look like
I will be able to. Most likely, you'll be taken to the Black Lotus Corps
base on Arrakis.
There you will be subjected to mindprobes and torture to extract
information, and then, 
if you haven't died from the treatment, you will be executed."
	Akane gasps.
	"I can't bear the thought of loosing my only remaining sister." Nabiki
begins to
cry. "I've tried to do good, but...I've failed, I seems all my undermining
and spying is
for nothing when someone I love's life hangs in the balance." Nabiki leans
forward and
rests on the force field before her."
	"Nabiki...I've never seen you like this. But don't worry, as long as you
carry me
in your heart next to Kasumi, I won't die." said Akane.
	Nabiki regains her composure and straightens herself. "That's good, but one of
the things that keeps me going is the though that Kasumi is still alive.
Good-bye sister."
Nabiki climbed out of the pit and returned the force field to it's original
shape.
	"Good-bye sister." said Nabiki again, and left the room.

	"What took you so long?" asked Titus as Ranma came running up.
	"Did anyone ever tell you look like Boba Fett?" said Ranma.
	"Yes, that's the idea. Now get in the ship." Titus opens that hatch on the
ship.
Titus's ship bears a stark resemblance to a inverted Y with the arms raised.
It was painted
in a kind of black, red and blue camouflage. Titus sat in the command chair,
and Ranma sat 
in on of the other passenger chairs.
	"Whoa, these seats are comfy." said Ranma.
	"No, you're sitting in the rear ball turret. I don't want to have to deal
with any 
CAF fighters sneaking up on us. Now, get." Titus points a ladder that
reaches into the roof
of the ship. Ranma reluctantly climbs up it. "Now, get settled, where taking
off." Titus 
sits down in his chair, and takes the yoke, and activates the suspensor lift
system. The 
ship shakes and lifts off. As soon as it has cleared the ground, the wings
fold down, 
making the inverted Y complete. Titus pushes the throttle forward and the
ship begins to 
escape the planets gravity. Titus's ship was legendary for it's speed/size
ratio, and 
they escaped the atmosphere in a matter of minutes. "Prepare to enter
Hyperspace." Titus
begins to flick switches and push buttons and read displays. Soon, they
entered the blue
white tunnel that was Hyperspace.

	Nabiki walked down the dimly lit hallway, the signs of her talk with Akane
still
showed. A thin layer of dust covered the floor of the hallway.
	"I must get someone to clean it...well, if I did that, this wouldn't be a
secret
hallway." Nabiki thought to herself.
	Nabiki stopped as she came to a door. From her pocket she produces a key
card, and
places it in the slot on the left wall. The door slides open and she walks in.
	"Is that you Nabiki?" said a voice from inside.
	"Yes, how are you doing, Akari?" asked Nabiki.
	Akari came out from the shadows. She flicked on the lights. Akari's cell
was about
the size of a minivan, with a futon, toilet, and a few replicator. Akari
didn't look to
healthy, her skin was disturbingly white, and her eyes were sunken, and had
a pitiful look.
	"Has the Shogun finally decided how it's going to use me to capture Ryoga?"
asked 
Akari.
	"No, not yet. Oh Akari, I'm so sorry about this, but this is something from
the 
Shogun, not even the Emperor or Kuno could get you out of here." said
Nabiki. She reached
into her pocket. "Here." She handed Akari a small photo.
	"It's...it's of Ryoga! And me! I remember this...oh than you Nabiki!" Akari
hugged
Nabiki close. " Oh! you don't know how much this means!" 
	"I know, I know how it is being separated from the ones you love for such a
long
time."
	"You miss your sisters don't you?"
	"Yes, but the sad part is Akane is here, but not for much longer, and I
will never see her
again."
	"You mean she's been captured? Oh Nabiki, that's awful..."
	Nabiki rests her hand on Akari's shoulder. "Don't worry. I'll keep strong
like you have."
	Nabiki gets up and leaves.

	"Holy Shit!" was all Ranma could say as the massive form of the Kuno's
Glory loomed before
him. "I knew it was big, but not this big!"
	"Calm down." said Titus over the ship's radio.
	"Hey, they can't see us, can they?"
	"No, my ship has a alien cloaking device that cannot be picked up by any
sensor made
by human hands."
	"So how are we going to get in?"
	"Leave it to me."
	Titus piloted his ship along the belly of the monster, starting at the
blade shaped 
bow, and following the neck, then to the main hull, where it set down.
	"Hey! What are you doing?" asked Ranma.
	"I said leave it to me!" Titus get out of his chair and walks over to a
round drum like 
thing. He pushes a button, and it lowers down through a hatch on the deck.
There the sound of a 
laser torch and then it stops. The top of the drum opens, revealing a
ladder. 	"All right Ranma,
lets go!" Ranma comes down from the turret and grabs his weapons and goes
down first. Titus
takes a shot gun and a powersword and leaps down following Ranma.
	Ranma looks at Titus. "All right, what do we do know?"
	"You will go through the access tunnels, I will go down the halls." says
Titus pointing
to a small grate along the wall.
	"Are you nuts? You're not that inconspicuous."
	Titus pushes a button on a box that is on his belt. He blurs and
disappears. He reappears
behind Ranma. "Don't worry, this is a phase-refluxer, It makes me out of
sync with the real world 
just enough that you can see me, but I can see you."
	"More Alien technology?"
	"Yes. Now, get into the access tunnels." with that Titus blurs again, and
is gone.
	"Great, oh well, I'm coming Akane, I'm coming." Ranma rips the grate off,
and begins to
crawl through the access tunnel.

 


	Well, can you tell this is written in a day?
	Any way, this was written almost completely while listening to the SM R
Movie ST....goddess dose that depress someone....
	Any way, part is coming really soon...
