Soryuu Asuka Langley ("Shin Seiki Evangelion")

LOOKS:  A little on the thin side but well proportioned for her age.  No
doubt as she grows she will fill out quite nicely and give Misato a reason
to ease up on the beer.  Long, somewhat unkempt auburn tresses frame a
pert face punctuated by wide blue eyes.  She is a package well worth
waiting for and you probably won't have to wait long. 

SMARTS:  Average, but don't tell her that.  As a 14-sai onna no ko she is
easily distracted by the concerns of such and therefore will devote little
mental effort to the more serious aspects of her relationship with NERV. 
She is a quick study when she's interested and she is interested in
driving Eva units. All in all she's not dumb if she's viewed in an
objective manner. 

PERSONALITY:  Arrogant.  She's an Eva pilot and that makes her special. 
And she knows she's special.  What do you expect as she wears her
interface headset as a hair ornament.  This can make her insufferable at
times but remember that her behavior conceals a tragic past.  This young
lady's sanity is close to a brittle edge and she needs every defense she
can muster to preserve it.  I do not expect however that this knowledge
will in any way diminish the desire to drop kick her a few yards every now
and then. 

HOME ECONOMICS:  No indications she knows anything about home management
beyond opening the refrigerator door.  Her imperial attitude, particularly
where things japanese are concerned, indicate that she expects servants to
take care of the more mundane aspects of married life.  If not servants
certainly her husband. If this is ameniable to you then I forsee no
problems.  If it isn't be warned that Asuka is not one to be argued or
forced into compliance.  If you expect hot food and clean clothes likely
you'll be providing them yourself. 

COMBAT SKILLS:  Unfocused but talented.  Outside of an Eva unit she can
probably be stomped quite easily unless NERV trains her in hand-to-hand as
well as Eva combat.  Inside an Eva unit she's hell-on-wheels (or in this
case, legs).  The last person to paint their combat machine bright red
brought down eighty enemy pilots before he got taken out.  She appears to
distain cannons in favor of closing in with fists and cutlery.  However
she appears to handle losing quite badly.  Not unexpected given her basic
personality.  In one fight where she literally had her head handed to her
she was fairly close to losing her grip completely. 

SPECIAL ABILITIES:  One of the special children who can sychronize with an
Eva. Unfortunately this talent was lost after a mental invasion by an
attacking Angel.  That talent wasn't all that was lost. 

COMPETITION:  Ikari Shinji.  Despite her apparent distain for him she does
care for him as he is a fellow Eva pilot and thus the only male she can
relate to. Despite the attention she attracts from the other males in her
school she does not feel anyone who isn't an Eva pilot is worth her time. 
Fortunately for you Shinji's attention is elsewhere so he will not
interfere with your interest in Asuka.  You will have a hell of a time
convincing Asuka to have anything to do with you as your biggest
competitor will be Eva-002. 

IN-LAWS:  Her mother is dead by her own hand and I have little data on her
father.  I expect though that he will be playing little to no role in your
lives. 

FINANCES:  Not promising.  Asuka's only skill was piloting an Eva and when
she lost that she lost everything, including her mind.  Should she recover
she will not be in much of a condition to earn a living anytime soon. 
Fortunately the earth's population has been so reduced by previous Angel
activity that if you have any skills at all there will be no shortage of
lucrative employment.  It will probably not be necessary for Asuka to work
at all unless she wanted to. 

SEX:  All I can say is you'd better be good.  Asuka is not likely to be
considerate of your feelings should you fail to perform up to standard. 
She herself is certainly desireable enough to be an inspiration once you
get past her blunt personality.  Once she is convinced of the
pleasureableness of the experience she is likely to put her heart and soul
into it making her a lover of vast capacity. 

OVERALL:  William Shakespeare wrote a play: "The Taming of the Shrew". 
Read it before going anywhere near this girl.  If you have the requisite
armor plated ego you can make a very happy life for yourself with Asuka as
your companion. It will be a balancing act of clashing personalities as
Asuka vies for dominance but if you can maintain parity (a superior
position is out of the question) Asuka will settle in as a loyal and
loving, if bruque, spouse.  This one is strictly a matter of taste.
