No offense, but if your story isn't about the known BGC characters (or they
aren't going to be used much), don't you consider it misleading to your
readership to call your story a "BGC" fanfic?
And since "Another Story of Bubblegum Crisis" has become commonly related to
'regular' BGC fanfics (though the line is actually from ADP anime), don't
you consider it misleading to use it with your story?
A valid point, I suppose... although if it is misleading, it certainly
wasn't intentional.
I did put a little blurb at the beginning of one of the earlier episodes
about there being no KS in the 'fic or in its immediate future. I guess I'll
put it in all of them from now on so as to avoid confusion...
Which leads me to ask this question: Are there many ( or any ) 'fics like
mine, set in the world created by the anime writers but not featuring the
central characters? I know that in Robotech, for instance, those sorts of
'fics are actually the most common type, courtesy of 'purism'.
Anyway, sorry if I ruffled some feathers... :/
