Well from what I recall in the chinese version by
Witicomics, all chinese spoken is indicated by
different font/type.  AFAIK Shampoo has no
grammatic problems in her native language.
When I saw some episodes in Hong Kong, Shampoo
first speaks mandarin, and says "Wo Ai Ni" in 
mandarin to Ranma.  Since the rest of the
cast speaks Cantonese, they needed some help
in translating.
