Hmm... in the manga Shampoo did catch Akane... but it was only there for the
bimbo to make a slur about Akane's weight. The rest of the time, Shampoo
does try to kill Akane...

	I checked my Phoenix story and that didn't seem to happen.  Are you really sure 
about this?  I've the Chinese version which is pretty reliable as I've found out.  Akane 
really wasn't even involved in this story, really.  Shampoo was nowhere to be seem in my 
version.

You're right ... I was thinking about the anime book, not the manga... 
Shampoo doesn't save Akane in the manga as Akane doesn't need saving.
