realized that, while Akane might be at 100% potential, Ranma ISN'T. In fact,
very few of the martial artist ever attain 100% potential (this is why they can
improve, they're always below their absolute limit). So, while Akane might be
able to Ass-Kick Ranma while in the Dougi, it also seems to put an upper limit
on how powerful Akane can become.

Besides, Ranma DID beat Akane in the Dougi...by striking the Dougi's Self-
destruct button (the dao symbol on the belt), which proves that brawn is no\
