But against Shampoo he's a spinless, wimy, whining coward.
You know... By this logic, that is to say that Mousse is a coward because
he won't beat up on Shampoo to win her heart et al, you make him the
bravest character in the series.

Mousse is NOT the bravest character by a long way. That title, goes without
question to Ranma. Look at all the battles he's fought for Akane. Mousse
never does anyting like that. He's not in Ranma's league!

Nope, it just makes him her slave... And slaves are boring, however cute
they may be.

Mousse is to emotionally weak to resolve their relationship. He is afraid of
losing to her becuase she will hate him more, and he is afraid to beat her
because he WANTS her to love him , not feel duty bound.

Mousse will not fight Shampoo - so he is a coward. But Mousse *loves*
Shampoo, and is NOT afraid to say so!

Not that it helps mind you.

But he's afraid to do what he has to do to actually win her love.

IT's not so much that he's afraid of her. He's afraid of the consequences of
beating her.

Ryouga would *never* beat up on Akane, and he is too terrified to tell
Akane how he feels - therefore HE is more cowardly than Mousse - Ryouga
won't even stand up to Akane's temper, but he's more than willing to hide
behind it when shouting at Ranma.

Hear hear! While I like Ryouga, I have to admit, he is a pathetic coward.
However the example of Ryouga beating on Akane is spurious 'cause it's
never going to happen anyway.

He doesn't need to beat up on Akane... And Ryouga doesn't say because he's
SHY. There's a big difference between being shy and being a coward...

Shot! Shot! A lovely shot!

Ranma too, would NEVER hit Akane, but at least he yells back at her, even
if he *is* afraid to tell her how he feels!

A more interesting question is why does Ranma *LET* Akane hit him?! He is
MORE than good enough to just avoid it.

See? By your own logic, Mousse is the *bravest!*

This whole arguement is flawed...

Nope, by my logic (logic? What's that?) Mousse is a slave, and a snivelling
and whimpy one at that... He just won't go and win her love, even though
he shows everyone that he loves her.

Yeah... he should just go, snap her back over his knee, and cart her off!
Ha! What a daft idea! Mousse isn't a slave, he's a man in love. There is
a bit of a difference between the two. (not much, mind you)

P-word.
