	No, Akane is going to marry Ranma no matter what.  Kind of sad to see her end up 
with such a low life as Ranma, but it is Akane's choice.  Like Ryouga himself, I 
say Akane gets Ranma just beacuse it will make her happy.  I would much perfer 
Ryouga to get her, though.  What do you mean when they learn it wasn't Ranma's fault?  
It is always Ranma's fault!  He's responsible for having so many fiancees and also for 
knocking Ryouga into the SOD pig.  Personally I would want to kill Ranma too if I found 
out he did that to me!  I'm surprised Ryouga didn't try to kill Ranma more often!  
Ranma's other fiancees are no less tolerant than Akane to the other fiancees.  In the 
onsen race Ukyou and Shampoo were beating each other up when they found out about each 
other.  

At least Ukyou will listen to Ranma's side before thwacking him into the
stratosphere.  Who needs a wife that trusts you so little that she beats
you up before you even get a chance to explain?  Phooey. 

	Ranma is not exactly the trustworthy type, either.  I don't have very much faith 
in him, especially since all he ever do to Akane is lie to her and hurt her feelings.

Umm... Kun-chan?  If Ryouga gets squished and beated up every night just to
be near the woman he loves, how does that make him any different from
Mousse, who you blasted as a spineless wimp a few posts back, for just the
same thing.  It is perhaps that a different girl does the beating? 

And, as it happens, Shampoo has risked her own neck to save Akane lots of
times - She *always* goes with Ranma to rescue her, and in the Phoenix OVA,
she actually catches her, and prevents her from breaking her neck. 

	She always goes with Ranma to rescue Akane so that Shampoo can be there to make 
sure the kidnappers done their job right.  The only reason Shampoo followed Ranma to 
save Akane from Tarou, for example, was so that she'll kill Akane.  The Phoenix OVA was 
just some effort made by the anime directors that try to make Shampoo look like she's 
nice.  Never happened in the manga.
