Hey, my friends adn I have been wondering, what is Shampoo's Chinese like
in the Chinese version of the manga? I mean, how do they translate it?
You can tell me pretty straight off because I'm a native speaker of Chinese.
So, do they make her speak broken Chinese, with lacking particles and
stuff? I mean, she's supposedly from China so we got a little confused on
how they'd translate what Shampoo says.
The Scrivener replies:
Well, in the Chinese anime, when Shampoo says "Wo ai ni" (in her introductory
episode), she says "I love you" in English. She's also got an odd accent I can't
really place because of my limitted understanding of Chinese...
And from Yug:
Well, I guess thats it... both English and Chinese then.
