IMHO, the general consensus on including yourself in a fanfic is that its okay
_if you do it carefully_. Give yourself as much (or more) scrutiny as any other
character you put in, even the main ones (some regulars are inappropriate in
the wrong setting, for example: you don't include Ryouga showing up at point B
unless he has already visited points C through Q).
