Ranma Wars: cast list and other notes.

I've read alot of crossover stories taking the Ranma chars and placing them
in other universes.  Well I just got a bang up idea: how about a Ranma/Star
Wars crossover.  As far as I know it has yet to be done.  Here's the cast as
I envision it.  In the lead role playing Luke Skywalker would be none other
than...Ryouga.  Bet ya thought I was gonna say Ranma.  The reason for this I
will explain now.  As Star Wars goes Luke and Leia are brother and sister.
If Ranma was Akanes sister we'd have a bad case of inbreeding.  As for Ranma
he would play Ran solo (God is that bad or what?), Akane would play Leia.
This works perfectly since Han and Leia are practicaly at each others
throats in the beginning but later on fall in love.  As for the Chewbacca
char I have two choices: 1) Genma panda looks like Chewbacca(O.K. not
really) and is about as coherent.  2) this one is a little stranger.  In
going that Han and Chewie are good friends I would put Ukyo as the
navigator.  Although not alien or hairy she would seem to fit in(any
suggestions on how I could do this).  This would free Genma up to become Gen
Kenobi (Hey admit it, he may be a coward but he does have skill and at times
spouts philosophy just like Ben).  Playing Darth Vader would be (drumroll
please)  Kuno (hey the sword, the ego, the fact that he is the tallest Ranma
char).  Playing the emperor would have to be done by a powerful guy say
Happosai (this would of course only come into play in the third story).  As
yoda I have decided on Cologne (hey she did teach Ryouga the blasting
point).  This leaves me with some roles to fill.  My brother suggested
Mousse as Lando, I'm not sure.  I also have no idea who the droids would be.
I am also left with some Ranma mainstays who are out of action.  Where would
I use Shampoo, Nabiki, Kasumi, Soun.  I really want to write this but I need
some feedback to help with char choices and an honest opinion on if this
will fly.


p.s.  since writing this I have decided on keeping Ukyo in the Chewie role.
She will hence be known as Uk-baca (yes that is a play on words) But don't
ever call her that to her face or you'll wish I'd left a wookie as
copilot(she prefers Ucchan).  I also, with the help of a friend, decided
where I could fit Mousse and Shampoo (ugh), The amazon bimbo will hence be
known as Shampoo detoo with her counterpart Mousse threepio( M-3PO). Also I
have placed Nabiki in the Lando role, it suits her.  I am planning on
modifying some of the SW equipment as well.  From light katanas (umbrella in
Ryoga's case), to Kuno wearing black samurai armor and the "lightning"
troopers wearing white samurai armor.  Also the Empire will be hence known
as the Hentpire.  Please write back and tell me what you think.
