Jack, Zen will be honest... Zen has been reading the installments of your
story, and quite frankly, it does NOT "suck".  Zen has not really been
enjoying it much; Zen really does dislike the Mary Sue genre, but that is
Zen's hangup.

As for your *writing* - Zen thinks that your ability is well above
average...  Not to say that there are not areas where you need to improve,
but you have a raw ability that you will need to polish - and to do that,
you need to keep writing, no matter what someone else may say about your
work.

Practice makes perfect (Cliche's are cliche for a *reason*)

So don't get worked up, or lose confidense - just plug away at it and keep
writing.

Zen, for one, will be looking forward to the first fic you write that does
NOT include the author or his friends as characters.
