Jack,

I'm among those who was a powerfully strong negative reaction to your
stories. Not necessarily because the story is poorly written (in fact,
it's got better prose than a lot of other stuff that comes out).

How to say this. We are not interested in how Jack suddenly acquires
the martial arts prowess to challenge Ranma et. al. Why should we? Why
should we care about Jack?

We could care even less about Jack making love to Shampoo. In fact,
that offends me a little. It's fine as a private fantasy - heck, I've
always had a thing for Nabiki myself - but to publicly display the
fantasy turns people off *in a hurry*. We like the Shampoo that's madly
in love with Ranma and will do anything to get him. We could care less
about the Shampoo that suddenly falls for Jack.

I agree with you totally, i think its kinda sick.... and I don't like
stories with the authors being in it, I really didn't like the Crys Saga,
it really bored me after the first story, but thats my own opinion.

Although I haven't read very many fics on the net, I haven't come
across too too much with fics with authors in them.
For me, the stories (ie the fics I've written) were a passing
fancy in Jr. High School and then into High School. Placing people I knew
from school into them was fun, a lot of ideas didn't make it to paper
like Ghostbusters, Starcom and Star Trek and others, although I do have
a Galaxy Rangers fic hiding around on the 2GS somewhere. Of
course Robotech stood out and that's where the Riders slowly formed.
Towards the end of H.S. I started to think well maybe I could
send this in to someone to look at, course how to get passed the
copywrite stuff kinda slowed that. Mind you at the time Tanya and Kara
were people with bearly any history, Captain didn't even exist and the
Beginning was the beginning....ahhh such memories. ;)
As for real life people becoming too powerfull and wasting every
evil meanie there is. I don't think I've started the Riders down that
path yet...well cept for one, but that's for later. :)

Captain: um about your email address on the last post?
	Bentley: Blame it on habit.
Basile: No posts from AX yet eh?
Bentley: Hey! I see Panama was good to you.
	Basile: Yep!
	Pam: Back to work Bentley!
Bentley: Mental note: Get better job where nursing grads don't
call to take their cert exams...(yawns)..
