Actually, I don't think you can write an "Author in the <whatever> universe"
story WITHOUT getting just a LITTLE ego-boost. All these "real world" (HAH!)
characters seem a lot smarter/cleverer/innovative than their anime contemporar-
ies (add that word to your vocabulary, folks! ^_^), and they certianly have a
LOT more horse sense!
