Hmmm. I liked it. The "let's-rewrite-Ranma's-life" fic isn't exactly a
new concept, but this series does appear to be something more than a
rehash of "Careful Destiny".
The writing was good; well-constructed sentences free of grammar and
punctuation errors, and a nice, smooth flow. And apparantly the author
knows how to use a spellchecker, always a plus. :)
As for the story itself....very, very good. It was coherent, had a good
balance of action and dialogue, and several original plot curves.
Normal life: Liked Ranma's attempt to remeet Akane; good handling of
dialogue, emotions, etc. Also liked the ending to part 3 - nice to see a
moving angst scene that _doesn't_ involve killing off a character.
You may very well be the first person to successfully pair up Ryoga and
Akane in a halfway plausible manner. _Nice_ plot element, that.
Exciting Life: Liked the table scene, and the end of part 2.
I'll be addin' this series to me list of "Read this fairly soon". Good
FFML debut piece, hope to see more. On second thought, make sure we see
more; you've cut off each series at a, "Things are royally fu-ked for
Ranma" spot. Suspence is fine as long as it doesn't last _too_ terribly
long (right Erin?).
