Okay, folks, since this is my last day on the ML I decided to go
through some of my back fanfics I printed but never got around to
reading. I found the "Dark Chronicles" fic posted last month,(loved
it BTW) read it and this demented idea came into my head...

"That's how our story ends, Doc, not with a bang, or a
        whimper, but with a thwack."

The door to the computer lab finally gave way. He found the
master control switch that powered the whole setup and flipped it to
the "on" position. Instantly, every computer clicked and hummed its
way to life. He limped over to one of the terminals, his vision
growing blurry from the mix of sweat and blood that dripped from his
forehead.
He logged on with his right hand, while his crushed and mangled
left painfully withdrew a small green memo pad from the pocket of his
bloodstained leather jacket. His ragged breathing grew louder as he
flipped through the pages, finally finding a list of E-mail addresses.
Forcing his left hand to work, he bit back his pain and typed in
the six addresses. In the subject line he wrote "Help....please!"
Suddenly, through the open door behind him he heard the sound of
a door slamming. She had found him! He began typing furiously,
ingnoring the shreiks of pain from his hand and paying no attention
to his spelling.
A shadow fell across him from the door. He turned, fear showing
in his eyes. The woman pursuing him raised her hand...
He felt a quick slice of pain across his throat. He hand went to
it automatically. It came back coated in red. His opponent sneered
and left the same way she had entered.
His vision swam. No. Fight it off, send the message. They were
all in danger. Droplets of blood spattered on the keyboard as he
activated the "send" command.
Suddenly, his legs gave out and he collapsed on the floor. The
coppery taste of his own blood flowed over his tounge as it trickled
from the corner of his mouth. His vision began to grow dim.
The blackness came and Aaron Miller died on the floor of the
Georgetown University computer lab...
