Unfortunately I couldn't think of a major port city that
faces the Sea of Japan?  That why I suggested that Ranma et
al, try to go by ship to the asian mainland.  Moreover, what
if Ranma accidently boarded the wrong ship?? Instead of
China, He might find himself bound for India, Austrialia,
Hawaii, or even the U.S. West Coast? (I know, this sounds
more like a Ryoga thing, but it does have possiblities. But
then that's my meager opinion) ^_^  >
