Has anyone done an Elseworlds-style Batman/BGC fic? The two
concepts would work very well together, I think. There are many common

If it hasn't been done, I think I'll do it.
GO FOR IT!!
One question, since the similarities of Sylia and Bruce are too
close not to seriously consider combining the two characters, who is
going to be Robin?
Nene of course ;)

Actually, I was more thinking of handling it something like this.
Take Bruce/Dick/Tim and move them into the future. Then, suppose Genom
artillery started to find its way to the streets of Gotham. Not only is
this a problem for the Batman, it's a problem for Bruce's corporate
holdings as well. Realizing this, he goes to Megatokyo to find out
exactly what is going on.
Tim would find an excuse to follow him, probably not telling him, at that.
Dick (Nightwing) would get in on the action somehow, though I'm not sure
how, just yet.
Something to consider about the Batman is his strong feelings about 'his'
city. Being in someone else's city, I am inclined to feel that he would
show a great deal of respect there. In this case, the 'owners' of the
city are the Knight Sabers.
What we would probably have is all of them on the same side, but not
truly working together. The Bat is not given to teamwork, except when he
chooses his team, and the same could probably be said for the Knight Sabers.
While it might or might not happen, a Batman/Robin/Nightwing vs. the
Knight Sabers battle would be a DAMN good fight. (remember, this is the
2030's Batman... while in the current continuity he seems to have an
aversion to armor, I attribute that to his need for high mobility. If he
was able to develop a hardsuit-type of armor, he would probably use it.
I have no doubts of his ability to do so.
Also interesting will be how I handle the Bat's aversion to the hated gun.
The 2033 idea of a utility belt could get interesting.
