    Tell me about it. The images just came so naturally, I was 
scaring myself. I'm not usually that graphic when I write. As for 
Kasumi, it just appealed to that sadistic side of me to see someone 
so sweet and nice as Kasumi dying in a very horrific fashion.

Yah, I got the impression that it was gonna be a cheerful-slasher type
fic. Still, excess gore never hurt anything! (Well, okay, it's hard on the
carpets...)

   Am I the only one who found the line; "Outside, a dog barked" rather
amusing?

    How so? 

It's practically right up there with "It was a dark and stormy night" in
the most often used thriller lines. I've even seen a Far Side or two on
it....I had taken it as subtle comic relief. Um. Never mind me, too much
caffeine.... 

  The end left me....I dunno....feeling a bit dissappointed. There 
wasn't
any real closure. And yeah, I know, the thrid fic is yet to come...

    Actually, the THIRD fic is yet to come. ^_^ But I have to agree 
with you on the ending. I just didn't know how to end it any other 
way. I needed the Ki-Spirit to survive for the third part, but in 
doing so, I created a problem in my overall goal for the trilogy, 
which was to make each part act as a stand alone fic. I'll take any 
suggestions anyone has...

Have Kasumi suddenly reveal her hidden, mad, torid love affair with
Sasuke.
    Naw, too cheesy (not to mention unsettling)
Have Ranma discover that he is in fact the Dragon Reborn....
   Naw, too cheesy and its already been done, besides, wrong world....
Have Jules and Vincent burst in and execute them.
   Too American Film Rebirth/populist trash. Besides, Ranma'd just beat
    the s--t out of 'em.
Have the Mad Fishmonger show up and save the day.
Have it all turn out to be yet another Discordian put-on.
Have Ranma suddenly recognize that the Kispirit is in fact his father,
refuse to join it, and fall down a shaft to hang by his knees from
Nerima's weather vane.
Have the Ki-spirit join Dole as a runningmate for the '96 election.
