She was grabbed from behind so quickly she didnt know what hit her.
A hand forced an oily rag into her mouth and halfway down her throat,
the thrust of the knife entering her back pushed the air from her
lungs, she clutched at anything, her nails felt the side of the wall
and broke off, with another thrust the knife severed her spine,
the next stab penetrating her left lung and it was over.

"Guess that means I dont owe you anymore Nabiki" he said as he
looked down at her brutalised body.
	(Hey! You forgot the ending!)

Nabiki's limp and bloodied form lay in the alley as the as the
killer slipped out the alley.
	Then it moved.
#I hate dying,# Nabiki thought absently as she pushed herself to
her feet, wincing as psychosomatic pain reminded her of where the lethal
wounds were seconds ago, #it _hurts_!#
Clearing her thoughts with a quiet snort, the ex-corpse considered
sneaking into her home to dispose of her bloodstained garb and make
herself presentable; then discarded that idea with a slightly cruel smile.
She knew that voice well, and knew a shortcut to it's owner's home even
better. A quick stop at her _own_ stash on the way there, and that punk
would never welch on a debt to her again.
#I thought that sample of mermaid's flesh would be a useful
investment.# the young immortal thought with a smile.

[ What a time to realise there is no really badass mofos in the Ranmaverse.... ]
Since when was stabbing unarmed women (or men for that matter) in
the back a sign of being a "bad@$$"?
