Yes, the pun is truly mightier than the sword....hit somebody with a sword,
and they usually die.  Hit somebody with a pun, and the agony can last for
days!!  ^_^

I got hit with a sword once.

But I'll spear you the details.  It was an arrowing experience, so don't 
axe me to tell you.

I haft to hand it to you, you have a cutting wit; I got the point almost
immediately. I bow to your prowess.

Well, in keeping with the spearit of things, I must punish ye again.  ;)

I guess this is one case where absence mace the heart grow fonder.  ;)
