Unfortunately, it happened to me.  Repeatedly.  It's now half a year
since I put out 'The More Things Change' and the sequel is STILL being
rewritten and trashed and rewritten and trashed and....

*SOB*

The other thing that will cause me to block is boredom with the 
storyline itself. That's a little easier to deal with 'cause I can just 
put it up for a while and go work on something else.

another thing that stalls me is when I get bored with a story I'm
writing, and write ANOTHER one to kill time, and then I get stalled
on THAT one too, and write ANOTHER on a whim... this explains why I'm
stuck on 'The Pursuit of Happiness' 'Surreal World' and the Indy Jones /
Ranma1/2 fusion fic.  The latter two were written 'cause I'm stuck on the
first one, and now I've got THREE fics that I'm stalled out on... and I'm
really TRYING not to start a R1/2 / Macross DYRL fusion-type fic... or a
Tank Police / Ghost In The Shell fic (Ghost in the Tank) fic... not YET,
not until I've ACTUALLY FINISHED something dammit!  NO NO NO!
