Ok, ok, guys.. enough with the spelling gripes.. I KNOW I'm not one the
best spellers ever to walk the earth (More like the top ten worst, no less),
this has been pointed out, there is no need to go farther with it.
Mike: Hey, do you recal some of Kevin P. Bong's croonies from the old BBS?
And just WHAT the hell was Alan Pepsicola's real name..?
Maldon: The anime parodie from hell!!
This storie parodies quite a few anime series, but mostly Macross
(robotech?), but some others do turn up. Also, thanks to the Monty Python
Flying Fan Club (We're not DEAD!! We're just.. er.. goin' thru a dry spell!!
Yeah! That's it!!) and all the members who are protrayed here (in character)..
Ok, enough with the smaltzy shit.. ON WITH THE SHOW!!!
Inside the ship, the bridge hummed. Lights splashed out multihued lights
all over the bridge crew, who only happened to all female. (All the hentie
please discharge the perverted stuff now)
The bridge door slashed open with a cool "wishing" effect, and Lt Pepperpot
stepped out, eyed the situation, and made her way to her console.
Adrian Whapcapplet looked over, said:
"The Cap'in finally got here, LP. We might just make it this time."
"That would be the day," LP muttered, laying a hand on her console. She
keyed in several commands, trying to focas her head. The beer from last
night certianly wasn't helping.
"You don't think this whole is kinda cliched, doya, LP?" Lt NiterBater,
seniour officer, said.
"Huh?" Said LP, unthinkingly commiting a cliche herself.
"I mean, this all female bridge crew joke.. it was clever back in '82, when
Macross aired, but dontcha think it's rather trite now??"
"Quite, you don't wanna upset the overlords, doya??" said Lt Kara.
Meanwhile, on the midway, a local Pink Floyd tribute band was pounding out
a wierd song, one that sounded vaugly like "intersteller Overdrive" overlaid
with "Set the controlls to the heart of the sun" done by people who had over
doused on "Comfertably numb". Fighter planes slashed accross the sky,
streamers flew in the breeze, Modaka and Hiraru fought over a drink, sailer
suited schoolgirls flew from one end of the field to the other, and
somewhere, Belldandy had just one a prize (After accidently knocking Keichii
and everyone else out, of course) And the sun began to shine agien. This
might be a good day after all.
NOT!
