Liked the grabbing of Shun, who was also fairly well decribed.
A question - You gave his last name as Kuonji. Who was the father, and
why didn't the son take his name?

Shun is the son of Ukyou and Konatsu. Remember how I asked
earlier about Konatsu's family name? Well, there was some confusion.
Then I realized that Ukyou'd be the one to wear the pants in this family,
and decided to mess with gender identification.

One last question - While I realize that the name fits both your
interest and the previous fanfic name, why did you choose "Symmetric
Polynomials" for the title? :)

I was waiting for someone to ask that. A symmetric polynomial is
an expression with more than one variable in it (e.g. x^2 + y^2 + z^2
+2xyz), where if you permute any of the variables, you get the same
expression back. This story deals with how characters from D&I deal with
knowledge of their own destiny, and the difficulties they have in
changing it.
