Huh?  Why would they have to tell you "no"?  If someone using your 
characters has explicit written permission from you to do so, that doesn't 
weaken your copyright, does it?

Yah, as far as I know, as long as you werent getting, like, cash or anything
its groovy.  Now, depending on _what_ you wrote, Takahashi-sama might
disagree...
