Well, I thought I'd 'stop by' in absentia, for what it's worth. I'm busy
getting my stories ready for submission to a couple of magazines. Bought
sample copies, need to find the time to read them, get writer's guidelines,
etc.

I thought I'd share the bio I'm planning on submitting, though. Hope you
guys like it. 8)

Hello. Let me introduce myself. I'm a writer. I like to write.
That's my job. That's what I do.

I'm 22, attending Carnegie Mellon University, majoring in Physics and
Computer Science. I like the Physics, but I'm terrible at it. I hate the
Computer Science, but I'm great at it. But I'm a writer. That's what I
do.

I've often looked up at the stars, and wondered to myself. Maybe
science will one day take us there. I know I'd like to visit. So I'm a
writer. That's my job.

I work over seventy hours at the campus library, and a local
McDonalds. I'm trying to save some money to spend when I visit my
girlfriend this month. She lives in California, and I, in Pittsburgh.
More than a few people have told me long distance relationships always mean
trouble. But I'm a writer, so I wrote the story. That's my job. That's
what I do.

I'm looking forward to being on my own, to holding down a steady
job, and making a steady income. Maybe a bit more, if I'm lucky. At
least, I think that's what I want...but as I've said, I'm a writer. I like
to write. That's my job.

	That's what I do.
