Wow...I thought I might be the only person who is still a fan of 
Transformers AND Ranma 1/2.  (Does Beast Wars count as Transformer?  
Cause I don't like it.)

I am a huge Transformers fan. I have all the episodes on tape. If
you ever want to trade, lemme know!! ^_^

Really, it was Transformers that got me interested in animation.

It was such a great show, ne? The comics and toys rocked too.

Voltron got me interested in Japanese Animation.

Was Starblazers and Battle of the Planets for me....

Then I discovered that, behind Robotech, there was this series called 
Macross....

Ah Robotech. I have all of those too.

And it exploded from there.

And your life was so much better, ne? ^_^

Ranma was a relative late-comer for me, but quickly became my favorite.

me too. And I fought it for awhile cause it was "popular". If course,
now I own everything Takahashi has written. I had been reading Mermaid's
Saga for YEARS and had NO idea that she wrote other stuff. Boy was I 
surprised :)!

<sigh> Memories.  I remember my sister and I going to see Transformers: 
The Movie.  We were among the oldest people in the theater.  (I was 19, 
she was 15).  I really, really enjoyed it...the whole audience was into 

My mom STILL thinks I am a nutcase for sobbing when Optimus dies.

it; they (and I) went nuts when Optimus Prime single-handedly stopped a 
Decepticon invasion force.  The animation in that movie was top-notch;

it was great to see OP well-drawn.  I even have the soundtrack on 
CD...it's a lot better than you might think.  <starts humming "Dare" by 
Stan Bush>

I have the soundtack too... and that is my fav song on it :)

Oooh, don't get me started...like how my favorite decepticon is 
Soundwave, how I had a Jetfire transformer but foolishly gave it to a 
friend of mine (it's worth over $100 now)...

Favorite "Old" Autobot: Optimus (gee... how can you compare)
Favorite "New" Autobot: Springer (triple-changer)
Favorite Deception: Starscream :)
