details.  What types of stories are you looking for?  What length?  What 
will be in the fanzine?  How are you running distribution?  Is the 
fanzine definitely coming out, or just if you get enough interest?

I'm not familiar with fanzines, so some of these details which may seem 
obvious to you are completely unknown to me.  I am interested, but I 
don't know what you want.

NIPPON HEROES is fanzine with a regular magazine presentation. We put the
concept together to do a little more than what you can get out of a regular
'zine. NIPPON HEROES is interactive, short stories, art work, manga and our
exclusive PROJECT:GROUP EFFORT, where readers contribute to make their own
anime!!! (This is a great project!) and also reviewing, interviewing, and
keeping up with the anime, manga and live-action industry (sentai and other
programs of that sort). We want to emphasize on live-action. Not too many
magazines cover this anymore, and if they do, it's a small section in the
back of the zine. NIPPON HEROES is an equal balance of the three big Japanese
entertainment fields that we respect the most here in the states.

We are interested in publishing well written short stories (fanfic) by talent
writers. The guidelines are available upon request. We are also seeking
article writers which we do pay for! The inclusion of fanfic in NIPPON HEROES
is the same reason this newsgroup exists: fans showing how much they love
their anime!

NIPPON HEROES will premiere in October of this year (So, we are getting our
issue redy now) and will be monthly. Distributed through major companies that
sell to comic stores and anywhere else anime is sold.

In the interm of now and October, we have a Newsletter available: A scaled
down version of the magazine, presenting what we are, what will come and with
a few articles fans will be interested. Information about that is below as
well.
