Wow...I thought I might be the only person who is still a fan of
Transformers AND Ranma 1/2. (Does Beast Wars count as Transformer?
Cause I don't like it.)
Really, it was Transformers that got me interested in animation.
Voltron got me interested in Japanese Animation.
Then I discovered that, behind Robotech, there was this series called
Macross....
And it exploded from there.
Ranma was a relative late-comer for me, but quickly became my favorite.
<sigh> Memories. I remember my sister and I going to see Transformers:
The Movie. We were among the oldest people in the theater. (I was 19,
she was 15). I really, really enjoyed it...the whole audience was into
it; they (and I) went nuts when Optimus Prime single-handedly stopped a
Decepticon invasion force. The animation in that movie was top-notch;
it was great to see OP well-drawn. I even have the soundtrack on
CD...it's a lot better than you might think. <starts humming "Dare" by
Stan Bush>
Oooh, don't get me started...like how my favorite decepticon is
Soundwave, how I had a Jetfire transformer but foolishly gave it to a
friend of mine (it's worth over $100 now)...
Well, enough spam. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the
Transformers. Glad to see other people still do, also. :)
