   Since I signed up to the RAAC mailing list, I have been getting Fanfic
   on the order of 1-2 a week minimum.  Before that, I was getting almost
   nothing.  I believe that there are distribution problems with RAAC,
   possibly due to the recent .REORG situation.

That's almost certainly true; Usenet propagation is iffy at best, and
the change to raac resulting in a lot of servers no longer carrying it
has repercussions far graver than is immediately apparent; sites that
don't carry it don't pass it downstream to sites that might want it.

   Now, we all know Megazone can be...  moody sometimes.  Hell, since I
   signed up with the RAAC mailing list, I've seen about a tenfold increase
   in volume, and when I went back and checked the RAAC folder, it was
   missing more than half of the documents. (Not expired, outright missing.)

   So, folks, right now the problem *IS NOT MEGAZONE!!!* (Sorry for screaming,
   people just seem not to be reading this.) *THE PROBLEM IS THE REALLY BAD
   DISTRIBUTION OF RAAC!!!*

Reading does not equal agreeing.  Your diagnosis ignores three things:

There's the mailinglist backup (how you've confirmed the problem, after all).

There's the archive backup (although it's hard to search for new items).

And most importantly, it doesn't matter how screwed up the
distribution channel is if nothing is getting dumped into it....
