Hmm, the reason I always felt R.T. never let Akane
find/figure out that P-chan is Ryouga is because it
would destroy the friendship.  I don't mean the 
sleeping or cuddling with, but the fact that Akane
probably told P-chan a lot of private thoughts/feelings.
If you heard of "Akane's Lullably", you'll see what I mean.
She's uses P-chan as a sound board for her most
private ramblings, that's why it is a huge breach of
trust.  
This is also another reason that Ryouga thought he
was better for Akane, because he "understood her
better" than Ranma.  He has heard Akane say things
that she would never tell anyone.

Just a thought, still a great story though! :>
