Here is the COMPLETE version...
As Stargazer attempts to reboot his mecha, he is suddenly set
upon by 100 muticolored meeps. As he suffocates in the kawaii mounds
of fur, he suddenly gets the irresistible urge to cuddle them and coo
"Meep!" for no readily apparent reason...
Back in the lab...
Erin was laughing. This was turning out well, a successful field
test and revenge exaction. The pounding from the closet had ceased. A
CIA Gull was out recording the Panda Hunt. Speaking of which, where
was Panda?
A quick flight by the CIA Gull found him in deep meditation,
good, at least he couldn't get in trouble...uh-oh. The Gull had
spotted C-koH on the nearby rooftop, and worse, the brownies.
"Well, we can't have that, now can we?"
Erin went to the Teleport Booth and tossed a Stranglevine Cactus
inside. He set a few coordinates and activated it.
Back on the street...
While C-koH waited for Panda to come back out, she failed to
notice the tedrils of the Stranglevine Cactus sneaking up on her.
Within seconds she found herself fighting for her life in the thorny
branches of the plant...
"YIPE!!!"
MAke that the HENTAI plant.
C-ko Hibiki growled as the thorny vines attempted to grope her. If there
was anything she hated, it was being touched--by anybody, especially in the
places the plant was after. She stretched to reach the knife protruding
from her boottop, taking several scratched in the process. She ignored
them, grasped the hilt of the blade, and pulled it free. She began slashing
at the offending vines, a scowl of rage on her face.
As she hacked at the plant, she wondered how it had been able to sneak up
on her. She hadn't been surprised by an opponent in over six years. As
more tendrils reached for her, she shelved the concern for future perusal,
and concentrated on remaining mobile.
The more she hacked, the more branches there seemed to be to fight. The
young woman kept slashing, feeling more and more frustrated. Finally, she
had had enough.
"Screw this!" she snapped. "SHISHI HOKODAN!" The blast of
depression-fueled ki energy struck deep into the core of the annoying plant,
frying its motive center. The tendrils squirmed and twitched uncontrollably
as the Stranglevine Cactus shuddered it's way to death.
Back in the Lab...
Erin had just placed a squad of Zombie Gerbils in the Teleport
Booth. He readied the coordinates.
"Waste of good Gerbils, I know," he thought. "But Illumni can't
be choosers." He pulled the lever...
Back on the street...
The Zombie Gerbils materialized and began to devour the lethal
brownies. A few moments later, all that remained were fifty pile of
dust. Panda had been saved once again.
When the plant was finally still, C-koH extracted herself from its
embrace and rose to her feet. She turned toward the dojo, hoping that she
hadn't missed anything in her distraction, only to see the mutant creatures
feasting on her brownies (and dying horribly). She also noticed that her
tranq rifle had been knocked over the edge of the roof during the fight, and
had shattered upon the pavement below.
"Chikuso!" she swore. How could this happen? Neither the weird plant
nor whatever those dead-looking things were fit with Panda's modus operandi.
Already mildly paranoid by nature, the coincidence of the timing of the two
events spelled only one thing to C-koH--a new player had entered the game.
She considered her options. Setting out more food would likely only
attract more of those things. If she remained on the rooftop here, a new
enemy might appear--one she would have more trouble dispatching. And if she
were to be distracted again, her prey might escape. In fact, he might have
already during her fight. Only one thing to do, she decided. Much as she
hated to beard the enemy in his den, she would have to break into the dojo
and find Panda, hoping that he wasn't *too* well protected. She mentally
reviewed the data she had memorized about Panda and Vixxy's fighting
methods, and made her way to the street again. Locating one of the secret
entrances she had spotted earlier, she checked it carefully for alarms and
traps. Finding an alarm wire, she carefully deactivated it. Opening the
concealed door, she slipped inside, melting into the darkness within.
Silently, using every trick she knew to conceal her presence, she made her
way to the central portion of the dojo, and there witnessed her prey
conversing with the other hunter she had spotted earlier.
_There you are,_ she thought to herself, her face expressionless. _Now,
I need to take him alive, and I suppose Foxtrot might be perturbed if I
killed her employee, but I think they can take a little punishment...._
Raising her arm, she concentrated on the events that had turned her earlier
life into a living hell, and spoke the words.
"Shishi Hokodan!"
The ki blast streaked toward her targets.
