Hi I just got a new computer and while I should be very happy I am

chance or trash it and put in windows 3.1?
Immediately dump Win95 into the nearest dumpster and, if you choose to
continue using Windows, install Win 3.1 (or equivalent). I know too many
people (personally and net-friends) who have had too much trouble with Win95
destroying their machines. The kindest thing I've ever heard said about
Win95 is that it uninstalls well.
Ya know, I used to be one of Win95's biggest detractors. I slammed it
left, right, top to bottom, and gave it more punishment than Shinji took
in the second Evangelion 'flic. Now? I'm writing my e-mail right now
inside of Win95 while checking my newsgroups, running a compile, and
downloading the latest version of Netscape. To be totally honest, IF
YOUR MACHINE HAS GOOD STUFF INSIDE, Win95 ain't all that bad. It's
scary, in fact, how accustomed I've become to it.
