I once took a non-credit HS-level course on SPecial Relitivity  at MIT.  The
entire course was about this stuff <bleah!>.  Don't ask for any of the math, I
don't remem,ber it, but what happens is that as u approach c, the time you
experience in relation to the universe is slowed down to nothing @ c.  Once
you go beyonud c, time seems to go backwards in relation to the universe,
meaning time travel.  What your describing is a paradox, which this whole
topic has more of then I'd care to remember.  I've found that the ST writers
have a tendency to stretch the truth about some things, so you can't always
believe what they say.
