Roy perceives Jane to be going at the speed of light. THAT, in fact,
was the ultimate clincher of c as the universal speed limit. Experiments
such as that one were set up (I forget the details now; been a while since
I read up on them), and the speed was ALWAYS measured to be c, even if
by all rights it should be GREATER than c.
