Anyhoo, just to let you know, I believe that the pools are still 
working, according to RT.

Yes I believe so too. In the last issue there is this panel showing the
guide on the phone to the Tendos. He is saying that the water level at the
pools has receded and he is sending the Nannichuan water to them as 
requested.

I'll have to go check that again, but I thought that it was the last of the
Nanniichuan... hmmm...
