Lesse. And those two girls from "Izcer One" were lesbians. B-ko from Project
A-ko is clearly homosexual or bisexual. Then there is Akane (Kyosuke's
cousin) from Kimagure Orange Road, not to mention that one KOR episode where
that little girl falls in love with Madoka and does all sorts of evil stuff
to try to make her like her back.

not from KOR since I haven't seen any, but C-ko seems to be one...and it's
been insinuated many a time about the Knight Sabers....even in BGC itself in
fact :) "I wonder if she's a...." quote from the sub if BGC tape 1....(as
close as I can recall it at least)  Oh! And also from BGC...Anri and Sylvie
certainly seen to be lesbians...there's many in Bishonen
manga...hmmm....There's F3 but that's probably exempt from this ^_^;;
hmm...Iczer-one seemed to be a lesbian, since she was so hung up on Nagisa
(But then...who wouldn't...providing she wasn't as whiny as in Iczer-one...)
hmmm....There's a character in Venus Wars who's gay...can't remember his
name...yet another one from BGC..Daley....(If Largo and Quincy are gay I'm
going to shoot somebody :P ) hmmmm.....[mentally flips through the rest of
his anime collection] Ah! I guess the girls of Gall Force could be
considered lesbians...maybe...There's a harem/orgy scene in Crimson Wolf
with one guy and about 12 girls[shudders uncontrolably at the memory of
Crimson Wolf]...hmmm.....That seems to be it for my anime collection...

I think it is a pretty common theme, and more accepted over in Japan than here.

*shrug* I personally don't care who does what as long as it isn't forced,
but I have to agree with you...There's so few homosexual/bisexual characters
on American TV and movies, but in Japan....(I'm not counting the porno
movies in that "so few" remark)
