I, for one, agree with you 100 percent.  I am just incapable of seein Akane
as anything *but* naive.  It is part of the charm of the character.

After all, she is the *ONLY* one of Ranma's fiancee's that hasn't even
TRIED to use sexuality as a weapon to win him... Why?  She don't know how.
It would *never* occur to her.

Go with it as written!  (flesh out (er... gomen...) some of the details to
make the story flow more smoothly if you like, but I think you did a
bang-up job.
