NOTE TO AUTHORS:
Comments and criticism are NOT GOSPEL. Plenty of comments are about
issues that hinge on judgement, like this one, and there's no absolute
"right" or "wrong", just whatever works in your story or that you want
to tell.
Hear hear! The only thing the reader/editor can do is suggest how the story
might be improved. It is the authors decision on wether to follow that
advice or not. Any suggestion that does not feel right to the author,
probably is not right for the story. C&C should not be seen as a vote for
what should be done in a story.

It was sweet! Please, do not feel that you *must* follow the advice given
on this list. If it does not feel right as you perceive the story, then
do not change it. The editors of the list are here to help everyone with
their stories, not dictate their stories to them.
