Y'know, I've been cruising through std.com lately.  Pretty
much through the Ranmas, through the AMGs, and there aren't
any Maison Ikkokus except that one depressing one, and the
bad lemon.  So I've moved on to BGC and UY.

Now, as for Urusei Yatsura...I've only read two volumes of
manga, and haven't seen the anime...but:

This is supposed to be a comedy, right?  Wacky characters,
odd situations, lots of zaps?

Has anyone taken a look at the UY fanfic directory?  Don't
go there if you're feeling down.  Even the lemons are 
depressing.  The Classic UY series is very well-written, but
some...HUMOR would be nice.  And Just a Dream, too.  Excellent,
but bleak.

Are there any "Takahashi-ish" UY fanfics?  What is it about
Ataru and Lum that inspires pain and suffering (besides Cherry)?

I know, I know, pot calling the kettle black.  Well, I'm
working on happy stuff, too...
