Thanx for the c&c, i realize im not a very good writer..but im working on 
it! and by the way, i liked the crys-saga alot, i dont see why others
hated it so much.

I am glad to see that you are not giving up writing in the face of
criticism.  (Not that I disagreed with the criticism.)  Nobody writes like
the Bard as soon as they pick up a pen; it takes work to be a good writer.
(But then, Peter just squanders his talent. :)

I have never read the Crys saga, because I have heard some rather horrid
things about it.  It seems to have had nearly every item on the 'Do not
put in your fanfic' list in it.  (Although I think it was fine from a
mechanical standpoint.)

The biggest problem people seemed to have with it, was the Mary Jane syndrome,
which has already been described.  

That is not to say that a story is automatically trash as soon as the author
puts him or herself in it.  Two examples of this that jump immediately to
mind are Jeanne Hedge's 'We Just Want to Help You,' and the just concluded
'Oh My God?' by Brett Handy.  (Both of these stories are available from
the remailer, and I recommend that you at least take the five minutes
needed to read Ms. Hedge's.  It is one of the best short stories I have
had the pleasure of reading.)

A little bit of advice.  Shelve your current project for a while.  Write a
few simple stories first, revolving around a small number of characters. 
Avoid introducing new characters, and keep the stories simple.  Get a good
grasp of characterization, descriptive prose, and mechanics before moving
on to a complex plot.  

I am willing to bet that you will be glad you waited before writing the
story.  You will likely find that you either no longer want to write it,
or that you have the skills needed to do so.

i cant shelve this project because i well..spent 2 weeks on the plot outline
getting the first 10 episodes ready..but if you guys really hate it just 
give the word and i will bring this story to a hault.
p.s. im not inserting myself! i dont get beat up ever day and stuff!
