True.  However, I thought of this fanfic mainly as a joke, and the joke 
was contrasting his neurotic concerns over how Akane felt about him to 
Akane's forwardness.  Some eloquence and reflection was necessary to

You're right about his vocabulary, especially with his speech.  I made 
the conscious decision to write his thoughts like that (which may have 
been the wrong decision, I'll try it the other way), but I guess I got 
carried away with writing in one style, forgetting that Ranma 
characters just *don't* talk like that.  Oh well.

   BTW, what does the title mean? (It mystified me completely, though 
perhaps I wasn't paying enough attention to the story. Titles nobody 
understands aren't very effective; you might want to change it.)

A question I've been asked enough (with my other stories, too) to 
answer...^_^

I really don't like titles.  "Good" titles seem to be thought of as good 
because they give away something of the story to come...a key metaphor, 
or a hint at the plot, or something.  You could argue that this 
serves as a teaser...Perhaps, but I think teasers are silly.  Everything 
you pick up from the story should be from reading the story.  And it's 
not the place of the author to say what the key elements of a story are; 
it's the place of the reader. 

You kind of have to have a title, so I usually name it after semi-obscure 
music...no real reason other than that I need some title, and to 
emphasize my belief that *any* form of music music is superior to fiction 
as an art form.  "Heather", for instance,  is a Macca boot.

All of that's IMHO, and probably nobody agrees with me ^_^.
