RANMA 2096 HOMEPAGE AND READ ALL THE
STORIES THERE!!!

I think this will help you out a LOT 
since this story was just the tip of
the iceberg, a prequel
type thingy. Hope this helps.

D'oh!

You know, in all my searching for Ranma fanfic, I'd never come across 
Ranma 2096.  Gomen nasai.  No wonder there seemed to be so many 
stories...he was assuming we knew about the other things going on.

I guess the "Vol 1" in the title let me think this was the beginning of 
the "alternate future" stories.

Chris, you might want to include a blurb in the beginning, words to the 
affect "This takes place in Ranma 2096, check out my home page", etc.
